Melbet is one of the leading sports betting companies, offering users a wide range of wagering options on sporting events. The primary goal for Melbet was to attract new users who would not only install the app but also make their first deposit (FTD).

Objective

  • Expand reach for sports events

Tasks

  • Acquire new users through mobile app installs

  • Encourage users to make their first deposit (FTD)

  • Meet a strict conversion rate KPI from install to first deposit (CR inst2ftd 4%)

Implementation

The client set a firm KPI: the conversion rate from app install to first deposit (CR inst2ftd) had to be at least 4%. If any traffic source failed to meet this threshold, installs would not be compensated, even if registrations and deposits were made. This required extra care in selecting and testing ad sources.

In-app traffic expertise is our strength.  Thanks to our extensive experience working with in-app traffic, we were able to precisely identify the ad networks delivering the most relevant users. We conducted a series of tests to choose only the networks that met the stringent KPI requirements. This approach minimized risks and ensured high campaign efficiency from the outset. 

We developed a series of creatives focused on sports events, aiming to attract users with a strong interest in sports who were highly likely to take key actions such as installing the app and making their first deposit.

Each creative was meticulously tailored to specific sporting events, taking into account factors like event popularity, audience, and timing. This made the ads more relevant and engaging for users.

The creatives successfully attracted not just casual users but those with a higher likelihood of making a first deposit. This led to a significant boost in conversion rates and overall campaign performance.

Result

  • Over 200,000 new installs with a CR inst2ftd of 4% or higher

  • More than 10,000 new users made their first deposit (FTD)

The Melbet campaign highlighted the critical role of choosing the right advertising channels and developing tailored creatives to achieve strict KPIs.
